This campaign is not about promises. It is about participation. It is
about ownership.
It is about writing a different story for our
Ibadan Southwest Constituency II
Thank you for taking the time to visit.
I believe representation goes beyond making laws. A true representative should listen before speaking, bring people together, solve problems, advocate where it matters, and ensure the voices of ordinary people are heard where important decisions are being made.
That is why this campaign is not just another story but A Different Story.
A different relationship between the people and their representative, one that is built on listening, participation, accountability, and shared ownership of our future.
Thank you again for being here. I believe that together, we can write a different story for Ibadan Southwest Constituency II.
I hope you'll be part of it.
Femi Emmanuel A.
2027 Labour Party Candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly
Ibadan
South-West Constituency II
Democracy works best when citizens get involved.
The Oyo State
House of Assembly makes decisions that affect our communities,
opportunities, and daily lives. This is why choosing the right
representative matters.
This campaign aims to;
Engage residents to understand the importance of knowing and choosing representative they can trust while inspiring informed participation of residents in choosing the next representatives of our dear Ibadan Southwest II.
Listen, understand, and advocate for the needs, concerns, and aspirations of our people.
Collaborate with residents, community leaders, and stakeholders to identify local priorities, while discussing sustainable solutions, and how we can improve the quality of life across our constituency.
Our communities face unique challenges and opportunities, and I'd love to hear directly from you. Share the issues that matter most to your family, your neighborhood, and your future. Your insights will help shape our conversations, priorities, and the kind of representation we want to build together.
To build a more prosperous, inclusive, and connected Ibadan Southwest Constituency II by championing people-centered policies and community-driven development.
Our priorities will be determined by the people, reflecting the
unique needs and aspirations of every community we serve.
I will work with residents, government agencies, community leaders, and development partners to support practical infrastructure and community improvement initiatives that make our neighborhoods safer, cleaner, more accessible, and better connected.
I will support initiatives that connect young people, entrepreneurs, creatives, traders, and artisans to the skills, networks, opportunities, and resources they need to grow, thrive, and contribute meaningfully to our local economy.
I will support community-driven safety initiatives that strengthen collaboration between residents and security stakeholders, while creating opportunities to engage young people positively and discourage involvement in cultism, violence, and other social vices.
I will prioritize strengthening public education in our constituency by supporting initiatives that expand learning opportunities, encourage student leadership, improve school facilities, and better prepare our students for the future.
I will establish a Constituency Help Desk where residents can easily report local issues, share concerns, and seek assistance. Whether it is drainage problems, waste management, harassment, extortion, poor street lighting, or challenges affecting our schools and communities, the goal is to create a direct channel between residents and responsive representation.
I will promote a culture of openness by providing regular updates on constituency activities, projects, partnerships, and the resources entrusted to us, so residents can stay informed and hold their representative accountable.
I will support initiatives that bring residents together, strengthen community bonds, celebrate local achievements, and create opportunities for learning, collaboration, and civic engagement across our constituency.
I will advocate for policies and stakeholder engagement that promote fair housing practices, protect tenants from exploitative charges, and improve access to safe and affordable housing opportunities.
I will advocate for better healthcare facilities and services in our communities.
Real voices from residents, community leaders, youth groups, and market associations across our constituency.
"This movement gives me hope that our voices will finally be heard. For too long, our community has felt forgotten by those who are supposed to represent us."
Member, Labour Party IBSW Ward 11
"What impresses me most is the focus on accountability. We need leaders who will come back to report what they have done — not vanish after elections."
Market Leader, Aleshinloye
"As a young person, I want to see opportunities in our constituency. The youth empowerment agenda gives me confidence that our future matters to this campaign."
Youth Leader, Labour Party IBSW Ward 12
